“My job requires me to do a lot of paperwork and I was having extreme difficulty connecting with my clients while writing about them at my desk. I was burned out, procrastinating, and struggling to accept that I needed support despite my years of experience in the mental health field. Coaching with Steve was real! His attentive listening and exceptional use of analogies provided a fresh perspective on who I am, so that I could connect with my clients at my desk and get my work done much easier. I am definitely happy that I chose Steve’s coaching approach. Life can be tough, but for the most part, it’s all a matter of perspective and today life is beautiful. Thanks Steve!”

My name is Steve Gundy

Bottom line, an overwhelmed professional with ADD landing a job he loves with an employer and associates who regard his work does not happen! That's what I believed. It was the fall of 1998 when I made mistakes. I made a lot of mistakes! I'll never forget the first time I made a brilliant point someone had already made during a 3 hour team meeting. The puzzled looks, demoralizing comments, and feeling humiliated were burned into my memory. I promissed myself that day I would work harder at paying attention, I worked really hard! I paid attention to my boss, colleagues, friends, and family who told me
how I could better organize myself to achieve "success". Their methods worked...well...partially. Although I made some brief, short-term progress, my sincere attempts left me feeling drained and confused. I had an aching sense that I didn't measure up to anyone's expectations and I spent a lot of wasted hours thinking about that over and over for the next 8 years.

Flash-forward to Spring 2002. I found myself in a mid-level manager's position, working for a Private Not-For-Profit Corporation. I worked feverishly for 4 straight years trying to be what I thought was a successful manager, decisive
and determined. But the harder I worked at that, the more pressure mounted and my mind shut down when I needed it. Inside I panicked almost daily.

In Janurary 2006 my attention shifted! I intuitively sensed in my heart how effortless it was to ask questions employees had never considered. I took a chance and trusted my instincts. Then I noticed employees leaving my office with clarity and focus rather than the "perfect solution" for their client's problems. They also found closure with issues that would have otherwise remained a burden and a barrier to getting things done.

I shifted from attending to their opinions and their solutions for my attention challenges to how I uniquely work. That's when the lightbulb came on and I connected in a huge way to the bright, articulate, and compassionate man that
was there from the very beginning. Amazing isn't it? I had all the knowledge and advice a person diagnosed with ADHD could have at his finger tips with the answers lying 16 inches below my head.

The last year has been exciting! I got work that harnesses my core strengths and abilities. I'm experiencing a genuine appreciation from my boss and my
colleagues tell me my work is highly regarded by my associates and clients. I have peace and certainty in knowing that I'm living the mission God has laid out for my life and I'm fulfilling it using the strengths he gave me. I'm getting out of bed everyday with passion and energy!

You don't have to compromise who you are to achieve productivity and results!

Wow! I'm absolutely convinced had someone said that to me a long time ago, life would have been different much sooner as a child, teenager, and young adult.  You can take your life back!  Click Here to view the support available to you today!
